An exciting opportunity has become available to start your career in dog grooming in the best way possible. Work and learn alongside many experienced, award winning dog groomers with a dedicated training school onsite. We are once again ready to expand and welcome a fun and friendly individual who has a passion for dogs and is ready to learn a rewarding career.

Duties will include but are not limited to;
- Bathing, drying, and prepping dogs
- Dealing with clients, bookings, and phone calls
- Cleaning and maintaining the salon to a high standard
- Helping to create and post content on our social media pages
- Theory alongside the apprenticeship
- Maths and English level 4 or above (equivalent to a C)
- Clipping and Scissoring
- Opportunities to attend seminars and competitions with the team

**Desired Qualifications**
- Applicants must not already hold a level 2 or above in dog grooming.

**Future Progression**
- Our previous apprenticeship applicant has stayed with us since she completed and has been with us for 13 years.

**Training**
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Dog Grooming Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
- The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.

- The apprentice will be working to build a portfolio of evidence and will be required to pass a knowledge test and an End Point Assessment (EPA) to complete the apprenticeship.

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

Pay: From £6.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
