Absolute Recruit are exclusively partnering with a global service provider within technology to appoint a Financial Controller to be based at their UK headquarters in Hertfordshire.
Our client is a global leader in their specialist field, they have a proven track record and with an excellent client base, they have seen steady year on year growth.
The role of Financial Controller will head up the UK finance department, managing a team of 7 and supporting the Managing Director in all commercial decisions. This is a key hire for the business, and they are looking for someone who has a broad range of financeexperience, strong leadership skills and is strategically minded.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the finance function and developing the team
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- KPI / Profitability analysis
- Oversee and review the month-end process and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Managing external relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors and payroll providers.
- Preparation of statutory accounts and managing the audit
- Manage cashflow and FX
- Oversee VAT and tax returns
- Manage operational and compliance matters
- Develop processes and controls
- Provide strategic financial advice to the MD and wider business
To be considered for the role of Financial Controller you will need to be Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), have previous experience in managing people and have had experience working in an international business.
