As a Coach at NexGen for Foundation Age Groups (U9-U11), your primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive coaching and guidance to young players, fostering their growth and development both on and off the field. You will play a crucial role in shaping the foundation of their football journey by focusing on skill acquisition, character building, and an environment that encourages holistic player-first development.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Design and deliver age-appropriate training sessions that focus on fundamental football skills, teamwork, and game understanding.

Create a positive and inclusive training environment that promotes a passion for the sport, learning, and teamwork.

Develop and implement individualised training plans to cater to each player's strengths, weaknesses, and developmental needs.

Foster a culture of fair play, respect, discipline, and sportsmanship among players.

Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a seamless transition between age groups and to align coaching philosophies.

Provide regular feedback and performance assessments to academy manager, highlighting areas of improvement and progress.

Coordinate with the academy management to identify talented players and potential pathways for further development.

**Qualifications Required**:
**Coaching Certification**: A minimum of FA Level 1 or FAW C License or equivalent coaching certification is required.

**Experience**: Prior coaching experience, particularly working with U9 to U11 age groups, is preferred.

**Pedagogical Skills**: Strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to adapt coaching techniques accordingly.

**Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions, provide feedback, and engage with players and their parents.

**Passion for Development**: A genuine passion for nurturing young players' growth, not only as athletes but as individuals, is essential.

**Knowledge of the Game**: Deep knowledge of football tactics, techniques, and the ability to impart this knowledge to young players in a simplified manner.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 5-20 per week

**Salary**: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
