**Contract type**: Fixed term contract from (April-October)
**Shifts**: 35 hours per week between Monday-Sunday. Working pattern as agreed with estate manager
**Location**:Badminton Woods, Badminton, Glouctershire, GL9 1AH
**Pay: £24,000** per annum, pro-rata
**About The Bushcraft Company**:
We provide real outdoor residential adventures for children aged 7-18 years old from May to October. Arriving at one of our safari-style tented camps based in the grounds of Badminton Woods, students become fully immersed in the wilderness; sleeping under the stars, and cooking over open fires. Whether they are learning first-aid techniques, building shelters or tackling an SOS scenario, and experiencing and developing their own personal growth. our outdoor adventures are as real as you can get.
**The role**:
Based at our beautiful site in the grounds of Badminton Woods, you will be responsible for working alongside the estate team and field staff to ensure the highest standard, quality, and safety are established, maintained, and monitored throughout the season.
Typical duties:
- Reviewing feedback, following R.A.G reports and supporting the field staff in compliance with the Estate Manager
- Working cooperatively with the estate manager to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are established, maintained and monitored throughout
- Daily meetings with the estate team to understand the tasks required for the day.
- Supporting and developing our exceptional field team
- Completing staff monitoring forms and providing staff with positive and constructive feedback
- To ensure the welfare of our staff is at the forefront of everything we do
- To provide an exciting environment for people to grow and develop in the outdoor industry
- Actively making yourself present on camps to speak with teachers and assist with any questions, comments or concerns
- Being part of the on-call night duty, based on a Rota agreed with your estate manager
**What we are offering**:
- £24,000 per annum, pro-rata
- Free meals whilst you are on shift
- Access to staff camping area, with facilities provided (i.e washing machines, fridges)
- Full in-house training, including, first aid, food hygiene, archery
Essentials:
- Hold a full UK driving licence with a minimum of 1 years’ experience
