A fantastic opportunity to join a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Central Derby, as a Payroll Supervisor, you will be managing a diverse portfolio of clients from various industries/ sectors and sizes.

**The responsibilities of the Payroll Supervisor will be**:

- Managing diverse range of clients from different industries / sectors and sizes
- End to end payroll procedures.
- Preparing and running weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
- Administering all new starters and leavers and updating information
- Managing a variety of company pension schemes
- Processing all statutory documents such as P6, P45, P60, P11D, student loads, maternity / paternity leave etc.
- Generating payroll reports
- Liaising closely with clients to investigate and resolve any queries
- Payroll experience in a similar position would be an advantage
- A sound knowledge of payroll legislation
- Able to manage a diverse payrolls and work to strict deadlines
- Ability in using Sage and Excel (V-looks-up/ Pivot tables) would be desirable not essential
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
