Your new company
A forward thinking business on the outskirts of Bath are seeking a Payroll Accounts Assistant to join their high performing team.
Your new role
Responsible for the financial day to day tasks including payroll, purchase ledger and credit control. Duties will include:
- Administer all aspects of payroll within the relevant deadlines, including preparation of timesheets, submission of variations and new details, entry of sickness data, handling pension and tax queries
- Develop a thorough understanding of the new payroll system
- Work closely with various departments to ensure payroll is correct
- Prepare and check BACS payment runs as required
- Assist with annual payroll routines including production of P11Ds, P60s
- Process purchase invoices
- Coordination of monthly credit card statement submissions
- Produce monthly budget reports
- Administer fortnightly payment runs
- Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers
- Investigate invoice queries and reporting
- Update and maintain the finance database
- Assist in ledger reconciliations

- Excellent communication skills
