**Job overview**:
We provide care to patients admitted acutely unwell. We strive to provide a high-quality service that is safe, clean and personal to our patients.
We are seeking a flexible members of staff who are able to rise to the challenge of working in this busy environment.
- You will possess NVQ level 3 or equivalent and have experience of in any of the following fields: Emergency, General Surgery, and Urology & Gynae.
- You will also be trained in wound care management.
- You will be required to be flexible - shifts patterns Early, Late, Long days 7 - 19:30 & extra LLD 11-23:30 and nights.

**Main duties of the job**:

- We are seeking a flexible members of staff who are able to rise to the challenge of working in this busy environment.
- You will be required to perform a wide range of duties and clerical tasks including venepuncture, cannulation, wound care and ECG recordings.
Be computer literate

You will assist clinical and nursing staff to deliver timely high quality care in line with Trust Values.

**Qualifications**

**Essential**
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
- Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy

**Desirable**
- Care certificate
- GCSE English and Math's (Grade D-G)

**Experience**

**Essential**
- Experience of working with members of the public or experience a desire to work in the Health Service
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of working within a health or social care environment

**Desirable**
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of working within a team
- You will be required to perform a wide range of duties and clerical tasks including venepuncture, cannulation, wound care and ECG recordings.
- You will also be trained in wound care management.
