Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for an Caretaker to join our team on a Permanent basis at our Thamesmead site.

**What we're looking for**:

- Experience in dealing with the public.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Understanding in the use of chemicals (COSHH).
- The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and the ability to write simple correspondence.

**A bit about the role**:
You'll provide and be responsible for maintaining the internal and external areas of Peabody estates and providing a clean and safe environment for the residents, their guests, employees and other visitors.

Some of the key results for the role include:

- To clean communal internal and external areas including, estate roads, grassed and paved areas, courtyard/garage/forecourt/shed areas, washing line enclosures, service roads, footpaths, walkways, playgrounds, flower beds, shrubbery and other communal parts as directed using appropriate supplied equipment.
- To be responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the property.
- To be responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by Peabody.
- This role will require a basic DBS which will be applied for by Peabody, if you are successful._
