Aspen's Roebuck Enterprises in Hastings offers a variety of creative workshops for development and enjoyment. We also offer for sale the beautiful, unique pieces created here, which are on display to the public whenever we're open.

**About the workshops**
People on the autism spectrum experience varying strengths and challenges and many require some level of support. Without specialist support, further education and employment opportunities are likely to be out of reach for many of the individuals Aspens supports.

We focus on giving people the skills they need to lead to live their lives as independently as possible, including social and transferable skills, community skills, self-help, leisure and work skills. We also hold close links with local colleges and community projects, so that people who join our workshops at Roebucks can share their skills with their local community.

The activities people can come and enjoy at our friendly Roebuck centre include:

- Drama
- Jewellery making (Metallic Engineers)
- Crafts (Special Operations)
- Baking and cooking skills (Berks Emporium)
- Ceramics (Glazed Over)
- Asperger groups
- Social evenings
- Graphics & animation (Unique Perspectives)

**Essential**:

- Thursday 8.30-4pm, with a view of an additional day if required
- Foundation degree/Jet 2 level in jewellery making
- A creative flare and strong practical skills in jewellery making
- Interpersonal skills, Patience

**Desirable**:

- Professional or personal contact/experience with Autistic individuals

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

- HASTINGS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
