Role: Maintenance Supervisor

My client is a leading global provider of intralogistics systems and lift solutions for a wide range of industries.

Maintenance supervisor - Mechanical and Electrical with preferably PLC experience to supervise a 5 man team, this is a hands on role and they would be working shifts alongside the rest of the team and reporting to the Systems Maintenance supervisor.

Job Purpose:
Duties to include, but not limited to:

- Plan, manage and co-ordinate all planned and reactive based activities.
- Ensure that all parts / consumables are available for planned events
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Establish and maintain effective communication with both staff and client ensuring all communication is accurate.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
- To carry out all work in accordance with company procedures, standards, safety policies and time frames.
- Participate in maintenance activities as required to support on site engineers

Essential Requirements
- Able to read and understand electrical, mechanical drawings
- ProbleM/Fault finding plus PLC (siemens)
- To prioritise and plan work schedule in advance with Service Co-ordinator
- Communicate precisely both in writing and verbally
- Work from own initiative with minimum supervision
- Will have significant man-management experience and ability to motivate staff
- Maintain smart appearance
- Participate in an on-call rota
- Work overtime & travel as and when business requires
- Maintain a full clean driving license
- Operate company Service Management system using smart phone to report attendance; site surveys and equipment information.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Mechanical maintenance: 5 years (preferred)
- Electrical Maintenance: 5 years (preferred)
- PLC: 1 year (preferred)
