Hendredenny Play club and After school club is a small business in Caerphilly CF83. We are professional, rewarding and fun.

Our work environment includes:

We have a position available for a qualified childcare level 3 in CCLD, Play works would be a advantage but we could place you on training for this.

We are looking for a fun, motivated individual to join our team.

We have child care settings within 2 schools in Caerphilly, offering wrap around care, after school club and holiday club. We are looking for a reliable team member to work with us.

Hours are term time Monday
- Friday 12 pm - 5.00pm. This is term time hours.

We run a holiday club in Caerphilly all holidays except Christmas Monday - Thursday between 8.30 and 4.pm and would need to be able to do a minimum of 2 days for this.

This is a permanent position.

The post will be working with 3-11 year olds experience with this age range would be a advantage.

Responsibilities and Key Duties:
To provide high standards of quality within the club including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.

Observe, support and extend children's learning. Plan appropriately and ensure rich and diverse outdoor play experiences are offered

Demonstrate good practice with regard to emerging needs and inclusion.

Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand, and when necessary follow, Child Protection Procedures.

Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with the staff and other agencies that may visit the setting.

Ensure the general cleanliness of the environment at all times.

Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures e.g. fire precautions, security, dropping off and collection of children.

Promote the club to current parents and potential customers.

Work as a team with other staff members.

Qualifications and Skills.

A minimum of a level 3 in Childcare.

A DBS will be required paid by the employer.
