**IT Business Analyst - Financial / Foreign Exchange**

You will be working with a dynamic and expanding FX Brokerage House so any previous Financial Experience and knowledge of Foreign Exchange would be highly beneficial.

You’ll be analysing and scoping the requirements and specification around the development of the company’s in-house CRM, execution, settlements and pricing platform.

Cherry picking the best elements of Agile and Waterfall methodologies to create a collaborative and methodical structure around servicing existing streams of work and further extending the already extensive functionality of our product suite and will begiven the freedom to put your own stamp on our design processes and procedures.

**Minimum Required Skills**:

- Excellent attention to details and a proven ability to face off to business users
- Experience of working with business users, developers and QA team to produce plausible success criteria and testing outcomes
- Demonstrable experience working as a senior business analyst across green and brown-field implementations in a financial services asset class, ideally FX.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with an ability to engage with business users and software developers alike.
- Detailed understanding of either Agile or Waterfall methodologies, ideally with a foot in both camps
- UI design experience and the ability to produce workflows and mock ups
- Experience of breaking specifications into development tickets using Azure Devops/JIRA/similar and working with the PO/dev teams and business to triage development.
- Aptitude for problem solving as well as analytical and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrate the capability and interest to learn our business and product inside out

**Nice to have**:

- Experience of cross-border payments over networks such as SWIFT is extremely desirable
- Knowledge of financial services and ideally the FX market (spot, forward and options) including the competition, their offerings and current trends to define innovative functional solutions to boost product value.
- Integration with liquidity providers via the FIX protocol, competing quotes, the industry standard onboarding and conformance process
- Integration with third party banking platforms
- Understanding of risk and compliance frameworks (KYC, AML etc)
