Due to our continued success, Mills Milk is hiring a Credit Controller to join our main depot based in Ayrshire. This is a flexible position working 20 hours over at least 3 days per week - what days/hours/start and finish time is up to you.

The Credit Controller will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of customer accounts from reviewing outstanding credit to chasing debts.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Reviewing customer accounts and following up with any late payments
- Liaising with customers regarding payment dates and invoice queries
- Maintaining the customer database and tracking relevant details to assist in pursuing arrears
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Creating weekly reports detailing progress of obtaining arrears and reporting to the company Directors

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Significant previous experience in a similar role
- Good organisation skills and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to remain persistent and motivated until resolution
- Strong IT skills - particularly with MS Excel and previous experience with Paragon Software would be advantageous
- Able to work in a stand-alone role with minimum supervision
- Good telephone manner with strong communication skills and the ability to connect with different types of customers i.e. wholesale, direct consumer, business owners, accounts payable etc.
- Ability to work office-based at least 3 days per week
- Fluent in English language (reading, writing, speaking)
- Holds full right to work in the UK

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £15,000.00 per year
