**Job Title: Deputy Head of Retail and Catering - CF10 Retail ltd**

**Location: Cardiff**

**Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience**

CF10 Retail Ltd are seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Retail and Catering to join the chef brigade at the City Centre Campus at Cardiff and Vale College.

This role reports in to Head of Retail and Catering Operations and is responsible for:

- Implements the CF10 Retail vision for an outstanding provision aligned to the strategic vision and informed by market research, staff, student and customer feedback, and the wider community needs.
- Create and deliver an innovative strategy to ensure profitable returns across all retail and catering units
- Play a lead role in developing the brand and service proposition for the units.
- Works with the Head of Department to develop the support offering within CF10 Retail to support delivery of the College strategy and strategic action plans
- Implements and reviews staff development processes to improve the capability and service levels of the team
- Constantly strives to improve the student and customer experience
- Keeps abreast of national/global markets and business landscape, making decisions to maintain service levels and standards
- Works in partnership with the CF10 Retail leadership team to identify, develop and implement appropriate quality initiatives.

Additional considerations include the need for working shift patterns to meet the needs of the core business which will include evenings and weekends.

Your employment with CF10 will also be dependent on suitable reference checks, before you are able to commence employment. CF10 must have received two references, one being from your present or most recent employer. We will contact your referee’s upon appointment.

Registration with the Educational Workforce Council for Wales (EWC Wales) is a mandatory requirement of the post.
