**About the role**:
FiSearch are working with an exciting and growing business to appoint a Finance Assistant, working within the entertainment industry. The role reports directly to the Financial Director, supporting the processing and reporting of the finance function.

Our client is seeking a personable finance professional looking to develop their competencies within the finance profession. The role is a part time, permanent position providing hybrid working at around 25 (negotiable) hours per week.

**The Finance Assistant will be responsible for**:

- Reconciling supplier statements in a timely manner
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Monthly freelancer invoice tracking
- Weekly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts in various currencies
- Company purchasing and expenses analysis
- Oversight of intercompany finance queries
- Monthly VAT returns
- Ad-hoc admin support

**Requirements**:

- AAT qualified or working towards AAT qualification
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy
- Previous experience of working in a finance team
- Good excel skills with ability to quickly learn multiple new systems
- Excellent attention to detail with high proficiency in numerical data
