At Estabulo we prepare all of our dishes in an authentic manner to give you the true taste of Brazilian Rodizio. Estabulo honours the Brazilian Gaucho’s traditional method of cooking, this involves taking the most delicious and flavoursome cuts of meat, which are then skewered and cooked slowly on open flames.

This method of cooking also means that all the meat is served fresh to the customers table, straight from the grill. Our unlimited dining concept sees customers enjoy as much meat, fresh salads and sides as they like, at a set price. As well as our main menus, we also have a selection of Vegetarian, Halal and Fish dishes on offer.

Estabulo’s beautiful restaurant interior, and dedicated bar area which serves an array of gorgeous cocktails, makes it the perfect place to dine with friends, family or for a romantic date night. We are looking to recruit **Door Host/Hostess** to join our friendly team in **Durham**.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic person who has a real passion for customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Take leadership of the reception team and completing all related responsibilities in the absence of manager
- Promptly greet every guest with a warm/inviting welcome
- Be able to explain the rodizio concept and system to guests in a friendly and precise way whenever necessary
- Maximise potential sale through effective allocation of bookings and walk-ins
- Take ownership of guest care until guests are seated, including keeping the guests well informed
- Adapt language and service style to suit the guest, whilst always presenting themselves as professional friendly and polite
- Communicate effectively with colleagues in all departments
- Answer the phone and deal with calls warmly and efficiently
- Take bookings accurately, ensuring all details are taken correctly, keeping in line with GDPR
- Actively and continuously take notice of the entrance, reception area, guest toilets and other guest areas every time they pass
- Ensure the reception area is kept clean, tidy, and fully stocked
- Any other tasks reasonably requested by the managers, assistance in any other tasks
- Offer a fond and sincere farewell to guests on leaving**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to provide excellent customer service
