**Van Sales Representative (Relief)**

**Salary **£25,740 per annum (£11 per hour)

**Hours**:Monday - Friday between03:00 - 15:00 (including statutory unpaid rest breaks)

**Your Role**

To maximise the sales of Rosie’s Bakes & Nutri-Lean products to customers across a wide range of convenience retailers and caterers, both existing and new in Northern Ireland. Building a reputation for excellent customer service through operating to our high standards of quality, presentation, customer focus and service.

**Your Team**

We are a growing SME and have a team of Van Sales Drivers / Representatives already working diligently delivering our baked products and Nutri-Lean meals to our customers. Answering to the Van Sales & Fleet Manager, you will be part of the Van Sales team, providing relief cover across all regions of Northern Ireland.

**Responsibilities**
- To provide relief cover for our Van Sales Team across all regions of Northern Ireland.
- To follow the route sequence and timing that has been established by the Van Sales Team.
- To develop routes that are in their infancy, and work closely with Van Sales & Fleet Manager to identify and maximise all opportunities in that area.
- To maintain effective customer relationships by providing an efficient and reliable service.
- To ensure that adequate supplies of stock across the listed range are always available.
- To replenish stock in stores, ensuring best practice is followed regarding stock rotation and deliver exemplary presentation and merchandising skills.
- To check Stock ordered on the van each morning and stock accountability for each van covered.
- To account for all stock in your possession.
- Liaising with Van Sales & Fleet Manager and Van Sales colleagues regarding sales opportunities in the region.
- To manage waste / returns to company agreed levels.
- To report competitor activity to Van Sales & Fleet Manager.
- To complete all necessary paperwork, using electronic systems provided where necessary to the agreed standard and timings.
- To vigilantly follow the company’s health, safety and food hygiene requirements
- To maintain the company vehicle in a clean, tidy and safe condition
- Any other duties as delegated by the Van Sales & Fleet Manager.

**About You**

Reporting to the Van Sales & Fleet Manager, you will demonstrate:

- Excellent written & verbal skills in English.
- I.T. Literate
- Good working understanding of customers
- Confidence to cover all routes in NI
- Flexibility to change routes at short notice
- Reliability & Time Keeping skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative & under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills & Problem-Solving Ability

**Your Experience**
- 3+ years’ experience in a driving, customer facing role
- Experience of positive working relationships with at least one of the main convenience retail groups such as Musgrave, Henderson’s Group, BWG, NISA
- Please note Van Sales Experience is not essential but desirable.

**Your Qualifications**

**Essential**
- Full Driving License (minimum Category B)

**Language**:

- English (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
