This business is a leading specialist mortgage lender, primarily focused on sub-segments of the mortgage market such as Buy-to-Let, Residential (including Help to Buy and shared ownership), complex commercial and semi-commercial, development finance, bridgingand asset finance.
They have multiple sites across the UK and an international office, with the main focus being on their Kent and South East locations. The Technical Property Services Manager will oversee the service delivery of the critical assets, managing the supply chainpartners and ensuring they deliver to the agreed SLA's. The role will be reporting in to the Group Head of Property who is looking to deliver a more robust FM model including a CAFM system, deciding CAPEX budgets and bringing the assets within Kent to moredesirable standard.
**Responsibilities**
- Pro-actively lead and manage all UK critical assets ensuring our premises are receiving the agreed SLA's, quality of service & standards and budgetary control.
- Lead on appropriate cost quality control and other vendor management and procurement standards, providing assurance and MI reporting to the Group Head of Property Services on all technical matters relating to Mechanical & Electrical and building managementsystems including contract management, regulatory performance, and SLA performance.
- Support the Property Service Managers on all technical matters, procedure, and documentation to ensure they fully integrate with the Group's processes and values and embed and monitor performance through periodic quality assurance.
- Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records are kept and are aligned to HSE regulations, Building Statutory Compliance and Quality Assurance.
- Responsible for identifying and carrying out all critical asset faults and ensuring defects are swiftly investigated through root cause analysis so that our assets are in safe and serviceable order.
- To carry out routine quality checks on reactive and planned works, integrating contractor processes, procedures, and standards of work.
- Create and maintain comprehensive maintenance records for all premises and Computer Aided Drawings (CAD) plans.
- Using the Building Management System and the buildings environmental controls you should be analysing and offering insights to acceptable internal conditions that meet carbon reduction.
- Prepare and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments utilising them for all tasks (PPM's and reactive) to ensure safe working practices.
- Identify potential technical improvements for existing plant and maintenance equipment to facilitate improved reliability and /or cost reduction which is documented for CAPEX approval.
- Maintain the company's compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations.
- Act as the Relationship Owner and primary business contact for the vendor(s) assigned to you.
- UK travel will be required, albeit on an ad hoc basis

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have the following qualifications and experience
- Proven experience within a Technical role is essential.
- Experience in managing 3rd party supply chains, service agreements and negotiating contracts is essential.
- Experience in completing building condition reports and developing capital investment plans to enhance asset lifecycles is essential.
- Have Duty Holder status
- Mechanical & Electrical / engineering qualification is essential.
- Knowledge of BMS and subsequent works
- Health and Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) is desirable.
- IWFM qualification is desirable.
- GSCE/GCE qualifications in both Maths and English are essential
