**Lecturer in Bricklaying. **Apprenticeship and Commercial Operations**. **Full Time 37 hours per week. Permanent.**

Leicester College's Apprenticeship and Commercial Operations Department (APCO) is one of the largest apprenticeship providers in the region with an ambitious vision for delivering gold standard apprenticeship programmes that positively shape the futures of all Leicester College apprentices.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Bricklaying Lecturer with a passion for the delivery and support of our apprentices on Trowel Trades Apprenticeship programmes.

You should have extensive knowledge of industry best practices that can help students to succeed in their learning journey.

As Bricklaying Lecturer, you will deliver a variety of units across the apprenticeship standard. This apprenticeship is part of the recently developed Apprenticeship Standards and is a popular course offered by the college. You will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the team responsible for developing and enhancing this programme.

The successful applicant will possess a range of skills relating to the Bricklayer standard. You will also have the ability to work as part of a team, provide feedback in a way that motivates individuals and help learners overcome potential barriers to progress and achieve.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in numeracy and literacy.
- You must have relevant experience within the Construction industry
- Hold or be prepared to work towards a full teaching qualification e.g. Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, Certificate in Education or Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
- You must hold or be prepared to work towards an Assessors award e.g. A1/TAQA or equivalent.
