Proof Reader

**Self Employed Proof Reader**

**Start date: ASAP**

We are currently seeking a proof reader to ensure that all written school reports are of a high standard, well written, consistent in style and free from errors. The role will involve proof reading reports for various year groups and amending any errors in format, grammar, punctuation and spelling.

The successful applicant would work on a self-employed basis earning £16 per hour.

**Education**:

- Degree or 1-3 years’ experience in proofreading

**Key skills**:

- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with word processing and other editorial software
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and work well under pressure

**Other**:

- Members of staff should, at all times work within the framework provided by the school's policy statements to fulfil the general aims and objectives of Radnor House Sevenoaks.
