**Financial Crime Analyst - Digital Assets** Are you someone who has a passion for DeFi and Web3? This role is for someone who has a keen interest in the evolving regulatory requirements across the Digital Assets space. Reporting into the Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for supporting on establishinga Financial Crime Framework. You will work across a number of different projects, liaising with institutional investors, crypto entrepreneurs, venture leads, legal and operations teams to develop and implement solutions for Financial Crime Prevention.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Compliance Lead in developing an efficient Financial Crime risk framework for the Group and the incubated projects. This will involve assessing financial crime risks and identifying and developing compliance solutions for the Group and incubatedcompanies
- Support in developing risk registers, defining risk appetite, inputting on policies and procedures, developing processes and training, where required
- Undertake KYC/Due Diligence (DD) processes for investor, customer and counterparty onboarding and support with DD of investments
- Review Sanction, Terrorism, PEP, Adverse Media and Blockchain analytics generated alerts to identify and risk assess matches
- Provide horizon scanning of regulation and emerging developments affecting digital assets, De-Fi and Web3 across jurisdictions

**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of experience in a financial crime prevention role
- Working knowledge of UK, EU & Global AML/CTF and sanctions legislation
- Basic understanding of financial crime risk assessment frameworks
- Working knowledge of financial crime red flag typologies
- Some experience working in a regulated institution preferable, but not essential
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail, proactive and dynamic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and across multiple different projects
- Interest in DeFi, Web3 and digital asset space preferable
