Your new company

A distributions organisation based in Shirley is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller on a part-time basis. This is a permanent role.

Working alongside the Senior Credit Controller, you will be in a team of 3 and you will be responsible for posting and allocating receipts to the sales ledger and maintaining customer accounts.

Your new role

Posting and allocating receipts to the sales ledger
Maintaining customer accounts
Chasing up overdue accounts, including dealing with queries
Setting up new customer accounts
Liaising with Sales Office and Area Sales Managers
Resolving credit control queries and disputes
Maintaining credit control procedures
Reducing late payments and minimising bad debt
Assisting the senior credit controller and providing cover when required

What you'll need to succeed

Credit control experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient with Excel
Adaptable and able to work independently and as part of a team
