Pharmacy Receptionist

The pharmacy department at Arrowe Park Hospital are looking for an individual who can be the 'face of pharmacy'. You must be able to work under pressure and communicate effectively with a variety of patients and staff and in all different kind of situations. You will welcome everyone with a warm smile and great service.

This role is not a normal receptionist role - it can be very demanding and requires the post holder to be on their feet all day whilst managing the dispensary prescription tracker, manning the reception, and answering the phones. Many patients need a supportive and sensitive approach and so a calm disposition is essential.

You must have a genuine desire to deliver the very best patient and staff experience by going above and beyond to help them. You should be able to think your way around challenges and step up when we are at our busiest. We are looking for someone to learn quickly. If you have done this kind of work before, that's great but if not, our friendly team can teach you all you need to know.
