**Permanent Assertive Outreach Worker**

**Job Description.**

You will have a basic understanding of Homelessness, be empathetic, self-motivated and compassionate.

You must have a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.

You must be able to work to the Welcome’s ethos of acceptance and delivering services unconditionally.

In return we will support you and provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge. You will be a valuable member of our team and make a difference to so many lives.

**Salary**: £24,310 per annum or (Pro Rata for Part Time).

**Full Time** - Monday to Friday - 42.5 hours per week

**Part Time** - Saturday and Sunday - 17 hours per week

**Main Duties and Tasks**

To reduce rough sleeping in Belfast by meaningful engagement with new and entrenched Rough Sleepers many of whom have complex and multiple needs. The Assertive Outreach Worker will work as part of a team on shift basis enabling Rough Sleepers to access, appropriate accommodation and support services which will help them to move on from the street

**Salary**: £24,310.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Belfast: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
