Taurus Healthcare are advertising this position on behalf of Ryeland Surgery.

We are looking for 2 motivated, adaptable and well-organised people to join our very busy GP surgery.We pride ourselves on delivering accessible, high quality healthcare and you will coordinate the supporting aspects of all clinical services delivered by our doctors, practitioners and nursing teams, ensuring adequate capacity and resources are available at all times. You will lead on the planning and delivery of regular health campaigns.

Working in a busy surgery environment can be very pressured for which you will need excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. You will need to be motivated and assertive, enjoy multi-tasking and find helping others rewarding. Experience of managing complex rotas and resources for large teams is essential.

Your ideal background will be in team leadership or service lead roles that required confident, autonomous working, forward planning and a proactive attitude.

**Main duties of the job**:
The following are the core responsibilities of the Clinical Team Coordinator. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent on factors such as workload and staffing levels:
a. Management and implementation of all clinical team rotas ensuring appropriate capacity and diversity of roles

b. Engagement of locum staff when appropriate and within budget constraints

c. Create and maintain the clinical appointment book in Emis

d. Planning and publishing of room diary

e. Approval of clinical staff annual leave/TOIL in line with practice policies

f. Administration support for arranging clinical education, clinical team meetings etc

g. Liaise with HR regarding student placement planning and absence reporting.

h. Ordering and maintaining clinical consumables stock and ensuring rooms are stocked at all times

i. Effectively managing the stock flow between Ryeland Surgery and Bodenham Branch Surgery

j. Administration support for the two Lead Nurses

k. Monitor the on-call absence phone on a rota basis, rearranging clinical staff and patients in the event of clinic cancellations

l. Leading on the planning and delivery of regular health campaigns such as flu and covid vaccination projects and linking in with our Well-being Team to support the hard to reach population groups in accessing our services

m. Assisting with the administration of registering new patients, particularly with regard to online access to records

n. Summarising medical records of newly registered patients

o. Administration of waiting lists for in-house medical procedures.

Confidentiality is key to this job role. The surgery works within established protocols ensuring compliance with all mandatory regulations including (but not exhaustive); General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles.

**Location**:Ryeland Surgery, Westfield Walk, Leominster, Herefordshire HR6 8HD.

**Hours**:There are 2 positions available, this a job share arrangement working 26.25 hours per week and will need to cover 0800-1800 Monday-Friday.

**Salary**:£11.59 - £12.12 per hour depending on experience.

**Closing date**: Sunday 14th May 2023.

**About Us**:
We are a friendly, dynamic and forward thinking GP practice whose clinical team includes GPs, Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacist, FCPs, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Social Prescribers. We are also a training practice and host a Research Nurse.

The practice operates across two sites which together serve over 19,000 registered patients. This post is based in our main surgery in Leominster.

We are active members of our Primary Care Network (PCN) and are members of a GP federation.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 26.25 per week

**Salary**: £11.59-£12.12 per hour
