As a **Senior Weddings and Events Coordinator**, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of weddings and other special events. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences, and then translate that into seamless, unforgettable experiences. Your attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills will ensure that every event exceeds expectations.
**As Wedding & Events coordinator you’ll**
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines in line with client preferences.
- Source and manage vendors, including venues, caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainment.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue setup, décor, catering, transportation, and guest accommodations.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and seeking cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Anticipate and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during events, providing quick and effective solutions.
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the planning process, providing updates and seeking approval for key decisions.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
**Also,**
- To organize ‘bridal allocation’ or corporate accommodation for events and to liaise with reception to ensure requests are adhered to and revenue maximised
- Supervise all administrative responsibilities of events, including scheduling, communications, budgeting, selling procedures, client relations and billing.
- Ensure corporate and hospitality group policies and procedures are followed. To ensure that the client’s vision for the event is effectively executed.
- To coordinate Wedding Fairs and Menu Tasting Evenings.
- To be confident in up selling and making recommendations through strong product knowledge and maximising sales opportunities
**About you..**
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, with a focus on weddings and special events.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
