Yard Operative

Athena Work Surface Fabrications are manufacturers and installers of quartz, natural granite, and stone worksurfaces, supplying the UK’s largest housebuilders and trade customers.

Since 2014, we’ve built our operation and due to increased growth, we are looking for a motivated Yard Operative to work as part of a busy lively and energetic team.

Applicants should be physically fit as this is a labour-intensive role which can be repetitive and require some heavy lifting.

As a Yard Operative, you will be required to:

- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Work with the Stock Manager to ensure the yard is kept clean and tidy
- Assit with th loading and unloading of deliveries
- Racking and stacking equipment,
- Work within a team of factory operatives to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always comply with company and legislative standards.

The Person:

- Driven and motivated to achieve targets set
- Punctual and excellent attendance records
- You will have a good work history - (have an up to date CV).
- FLT experience is desirable but not necessary
- Will be flexible to do overtime, also work at short notice
- Will be motivated and look for long term work
- Please be aware this role includes some heavy lifting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
