At our recently upgraded site at King George Dock we operate the UK's largest refinery for edible oils and fats. We supply businesses in the sectors of food manufacturing, baking, foodservice and retail, and we work closely with customers to co-develop bespoke products.

**About the role**

AAK are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Supervisor to join the Maintenance team at Site Hull. This is a Monday to Friday, days role and will report into the Maintenance Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Effectively manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians to ensure high performance. Including control over maintenance overtime costs and call out rota.
- Daily management of CMMS.
- Weekly tracking of work completion through CMMS and management of KPI structure for the department.
- Drive to zero breakdowns through supporting the asset management and maintenance strategy programme.
- Ensure a responsive maintenance service through effective planning, including driving the weekly maintenance meetings.
- Support in the development of preventative maintenance procedures and autonomous Maintenance for the site.
- Identify small projects for team of reports.
- Involvement in the management of the Maintenance budget and capital investment through maintenance improvements.

**The Maintenance Supervisor will be required to demonstrate compliance to the detailed workflow management business process, which consists of**:

- Work Identification
- Work Prioritisation
- Work Planning
- Work Scheduling
- Work Execution
- Work Closure & Feedback
- Work Status Control & KPI's

**About you**
- Time served in one of the engineering disciplines is essential
- HNC in engineering discipline is essential (HND/ Engineering degree would be desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Strong leadership and coaching skills required. Ability to develop teams and to drive best practice from teams.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognise and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
