**Operations Manager**

Salary - £40,000

Location -West Lothian, plus summer travelling

Reed are working on a fantastic role with one of the UK’s leading crowd management and security companies in their search to find a new Operations Manager due to ongoing growth. This unique and niche position will allow you to be play a key part in smoothrunning and operations of some of the largest events in the UK such as Glastonbury, Wireless, Reading festival and many more across the UK and Ireland.

The main purpose of this role is to oversee the daily activities of events, managing multiple departments for maximum productivity within the operations team.

**So, who are we looking for?**
- Two or more years of proven success in a security management role
- SIA DS Licence
- Experience within events management
- Project management experience
- Ability to speak to stakeholders of all levels
- Strong Line Management experience
- A Driven, transparent, organised and flexible individual
- Clean driver’s licence and access to own vehicle

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for event sites through out summer
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team of security personnel, within a time[1]sensitive and demanding environment
- Develop professional customer relationships and respond appropriately to customer requests and concerns
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Consult, develop and produce training & briefing materials
- Maintain a direct line of communication into the company’s Directors
- Ensure all aspects of the required services are delivered to the customers’ satisfaction and in accordance with the contract
- Evaluate organisational processes and find ways to boost productivity
- Ensure smooth operations and high levels of motivation and efficiency in the company
- Manage client relationships to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service and compliance
- Produce and manage deployment schedules on site collating staff timesheets etc
- Make sure all safety regulations and other company policies are followed
