**Procurement Team**:

- Campden BRI support the food & drink industry with innovation, scientific testing and consultancy. We offer manufacturers, retailers and supplier services focused on quality assurance, regulation compliance, product quality and many more.Our Procurement Team supports our business aims through contract negotiation, supplier relationships, purchasing products & services, cost efficencies and delivering added value.
- Provides a procurement service that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the organisation by working closely with internal stakeholders giving high quality and cost-effective solutions.
- The role requires influencing skills on choice of purchase, to be able to prioritise change and deliver value for money, consider options which may have added benefits, and ensure standardisation process improvement in the service provided.
- Supports the wider business to direct, coordinate and maintain the effectiveness of all expediting functions and services to ensure timely delivery of materials to projects, and to manage all personnel activities in support of these operations.

**Position**:

- Purchasing execution: Sourcing goods and services and maintaining and managing supplier catalogues.
- Administrative excellence: Creating, maintaining and improving procurement datasets via PO creation and accurate record keeping.
- Customer relationship management: Ensuring a smooth buying process and working with liaising with stakeholders to make sure business needs are met effectively.
- Expedition support to wider business.
- Supplier and contract management: Working with suppliers to understand specific market pressures and delivery, payment or supply issues.
- Import and export focus.

**Requirements**:

- A good standard of general education including GCSE Maths and English, A levels or equivalent qualifications.
- Relevant degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum criteria Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations (CIPS Level 2) or equivalent experience.
- 2 years procurement experience
- An understanding of various routes to market and contract management practices.
- Some experience of expedition, liaison with freight forwarding and courier management.
- Delivering procurement projects with a proven track record of success in delivering benefits and savings.
- Some experience of managing stakeholders to deliver results through influence and persuasion.
- Effective project and time management skills assuring effective delivery and compliance with business practices.
- Full UK/EU driving licence. IT literate - Word, Excel.**Benefits**:
