Copywriter

Howdens are looking for a Copywriter with a strategic mind and a creative flair for storytelling.This newly created Copywriter role is full-time and permanent with a blend of home and office work based in our Raunds office in Northamptonshire.This isa great opportunity for you to play a key role in our expanding design and marketing team, to develop creative concepts, interpret briefs, and copywriting solutions for a wide range of projects including brochures, campaigns, brand stories, point of sale,local marketing, and events, creating customer demand through world-class brand execution as part of the UK’s number-one Trade Kitchen Supplier.

**What will I be doing as a Copywriter?**
- Creating strategic and insightful copy for creative designs and the brand
- Working on a diverse range of projects, campaigns, brochures, point of sale, local marketing, events, brand, editorial, and presentations
- Working closely with creative designers to create copy supporting concepts and design
- Writing for a variety of audiences and meeting the brief requirements
- Working within and developing the brand tone of voice
- Creating content for a diverse range of projects
- Identifying and delivering the standard for content quality
- Ensuring Howdens is at the forefront in the marketplace of marketing content attracting more market share and improving customer and end-consumer engagement
- Develop content that is optimised for all channels and supports the development of a clearly differentiated brand presence
- Objectively critiquing own work to ensure it satisfies the required outcomes of the briefs while being able to adapt to constructive feedback.

**What do I need to qualify for this role?**
- Experience working with internal organisations or design agencies as a Copywriter
- Experience in a wide range of design, specifically, brochures, POS, local marketing, logos, and events as well as other printed media
- Creative with the ability to interpret briefs and deliver relevant content
- Drive and resilience to deliver business and marketing plans
- Ability to work in challenging and dynamic environment
- Evidence of working alongside different stakeholders interpreting briefs
- Experience in writing copy for different disciplines
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong idea and copy creation and the ability to deliver ideas and creative content
- Good presentation skills and ability to present and discuss created content
- Attention to detail with good grammar
- Excellent critical thinking and demonstration that you are able to objectively critique your own work while being able to adapt to constructive feedback
- Good organisational skills with a flexible attitude
