Support Worker

**Doing Amazing Things Together** We’re all about possibilities. Are you?**
Do you like walking? Really like it - enough to be out all day? Do you know all the Disney classics and lots of jolly songs to sing? Do you enjoy energetic activities like ice skating, climbing and bouncing on a trampoline?
Do you have enough curiosity and patience to work out how somebody feels?
**Become a Support Worker for Cam**
What matters to Cam matters to us. It’s his life, his way.
We are recruiting a very special team to support Cam. You will be working in his home, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. From keeping the environment free of litter (very important) to having a picnic whatever the weather, Cam has things he wants to do.
So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships with someone who communicates in ways other than words, and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support _with_ and _alongside_ Cam, then this is the place for you.
Cam does have his own vehicle so holding a FULL UK drivers licence is essential to ensure he gets the most from his activity time.
**Why Join Us?** What will we do?**
We provide a package of benefits that make it that bit easier to be your best and we can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.
**What will you do?**
Supporting people is really important but it’s not all nature walks and activities. We will also be supporting Cam to make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain his new home.
It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Cam likes to repeat things and it’s important to him that he does. If something needs to change, it must be planned carefully and Cam involved in decisions.
We’re committed to being Disability Confident and we guarantee to interview all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy.
