MPA Recruitment Ballymena are working in partnership to assist our client the **Northern Ireland Housing Executive **to recruit a Maintenance Officer for the Antrim Area.

Maintenance Officers will be required to ensure that maintenance/repairs to Housing Executive homes are carried out to exacting cost, quality and time standards in accordance with the terms of contracts.

A key role will be working as an integral part of a team alongside Patch & Lettings Managers and others and communicating effectively with Housing Executive customers and partners.

**Key responsibilities**
- Carry out inspections of Housing Executive domestic and commercial properties
- Carry out ad-hoc technical inspections in the local area
- Authorise payments for works in line with cost and delegated authority limits
- Raise or authorise works to secure properties after instances of PSNI forced entry have been reported
- Work closely with Customer Service Unit staff managing customer repair and inspection requests and queries, ensuring high quality and timely communication

**Qualifications/Experience**
- 1 Years experience in a similar role

or
- 3 years construction experience

- IT/Microsoft proficiency at a beginner level
- Access to a car and driving license.

Basic Access NI required at a cost of £18.

**£11.39 per hour**

**Monday-Friday 9-5**
