Play Worker

Play2Gether After School Club based in Hartley Primary Academy are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to take on the role of Playworker within our well established setting.

You will need to be someone who is kind, caring, fun and hard working and has the ability to work as part of a team whilst you use your initiative.

The following skills will also be of benefit:

- Has a warm smiling face that makes every child feel welcome.
- Is comfortable with children doing what they need to do after a long day in the classroom (mostly making noise and having fun)
- Must be able lift toy boxes from shed and set up tables promptly as we are a pack away setting
- Must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace. Laughter is something you can expect to engage in during your working day.

**Job Type**: Permanent - Term Time Only

Working Hours: 2.30pm till 6pm Monday-Thursday

**Experience**:

- childcare: 1 year (preferred)

A formal qualification is not required for this post. However Play2gether are happy to contribute to your work development and help you achieve training and qualifications, some will be a necessity, food handling, safeguarding.
