**PayScale: £80 - £100 per day**

**Job type: Full time September - February (view to permanent thereafter).**

**Start date: September 5th**

**About the role**

Within this role you will be working with pupils who have struggled in a mainstream setting and now attend our SEN school in need of extra support. All pupils have additional needs and are supported emotionally inside and outside the classroom, to enhance their experience in education. Your role goes beyond classroom support, you will be able to offer pastoral support, helping pupils develop life skills as well as skills within their education.

This is specialist school based in Nottingham City Centre (NG1) with a double Outstanding rating by OFSTED.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Pastoral Support Assistant you will:

- To be patient and resilient.
- To be reliable and consistent in your approach to supporting pupils.
- To have previous experience working with and supporting children and/or young people.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- To hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to pay for one.
- To have worked in an educational environment within the last 5 years.
