This post offers a range of opportunities and challenges while focusing on the Trust's long-term EPR development, including onboarding the Epsom and St Hellier hospitals on the Trust’s EPR domain.

You will be part of a small team of analysts, testers and developers supporting the EPR development programme’s information requirements by delivering informatics testing for the Trust’s existing reports and analytical capability. Also, you will be expected to develop new reporting functionality in line with the EPR developments.

**Experience in any of the following will also be desirable**:

- SQL skills
- Dashboard technologies, especially Tableau
- NHS National datasets and requirements
- National themes in NHS data quality
- NHS record-keeping systems - in particular Cerner Millennium.

1. Develop and maintain own specialist analytical skills employing these to aid Trust and the Programme decision-making processes.
3. Plan and manage your workload to achieve agreed objectives and ensure the team works efficiently and cooperatively to meet the programme’s information needs.
4. Deputise for the Head of EPR Informatics, as required, acting as the information ambassador in Trust and external meetings
5. Develop a close understanding of the Divisions and adopt a pro-active approach to problem solving and anticipating and evaluating information needs.

1. Work with the Head of EPR Informatics to deliver the EPR development programme, including the Joint Domain Project.
2. Utilise your skills in SQL database querying and data visualization using Microsoft SQL Server and Tableau, to deliver information requirements of the EPR development programme.
3. Work with other analysts in providing proactive support to EPR development programme with the informatics requirements.

1. Plan and deliver appropriate informatics testing for the new modules and other changes to the Trust EPR system.
2. Work with the department’s Data Warehouse Team to ensure EPR development programme’s information needs are supported in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Work with the Data Quality Team and the programme team to understand and deal with data quality issues.
4. Deputise for the Head of EPR Informatics as the programme’s information representative at key meetings and discussions throughout the Trust.
5. Assist in the production of datasets to meet national reporting requirements and ensure deadlines for submission are adhered to.
