**Electrical Installation & Commissioning Engineer**

They are currently experiencing a period of sustained growth which reflects the changes made to our business strategy and plans for the future, which means they have a great career opportunity for an experienced **Electrical Installation & Commissioning Engineer** join their elite team, working at HQ and sites around the UK.

Your role**:Electrical Installation and Commissioning Engineer**
- Installation of electrical systems including cable containment, power and control cables
- Electrical Testing
- Modification of existing power generation systems
- Fault diagnosis and rectification on generator control systems
- Making parts / material lists
- Installation of new hardware, including power and control cabling
- System testing
- Liaison with customers and other stakeholders
- Adhering to H&S requirements and supporting colleagues in that regard

**Electrical Installation and Commissioning Engineer** - you:

- Experienced working as commercial install electrician and power generation
- Have a background in power generation
- Have extensive experience of commissioning plc control systems
- Have good technical knowledge of gas and / or diesel generators
- Be familiar with the principles of emergency generator operation & synchronisation, including knowledge of G59 and G99
- Hold a valid CSCS or ECS Card
- 8th Edition and City & Guilds 2391 qualification is desirable
- IPAF, PASMA would be an advantage
- Hold a full valid driving licence
- Familiar with Control System wiring, final terminations would be preferred
- LV & HV preferred

The ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues is essential, as is a willingness to get fully involved in installation work. You will need to be able to workunder pressure and to be flexible and able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
