Cinema Supervisor

We are currently recruiting a Supervisor for our busy Carrickfergus Omniplex site

This is a part time position.

**TYPICAL ORGANISATIONAL ACTIVITIES**

Cinema supervisors are responsible for promoting effective visitor services, whilst ensuring business objectives are achieved. Typical work activities include:

- Achieving audience and sales targets
- Ensuring audience satisfaction
- Managing promotions within the cinema
- Budgeting and stock control
- Developing an understanding of the local market, including customer expectations
- Complying with licensing and health and safety regulations
- Recruiting, training and supervising full and part-time staff to work as a team (HR)
- Marketing the cinema within a local arena

**TYPICAL DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES**

A cinema supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the cinema operation including:

- Cash control
- Concessions
- Dealing with customer and telephone enquiries
- Digital Projections
- Front of house
- Human resources
- Maintaining upkeep of auditoria
- Ticketing Office
- Monitoring KPI’s

**KEY AREAS FOR TRAINING**

Full training will be provided in the following key areas:

- Cash Handling
- Digital Projection
- Health and Safety
- HR Software
- Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- Reporting
- Stock Control
- Ticketing Software
- Fire Safety

**QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIRED**

Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within the hospitality industry is preferred.

**KEY SKILLS FOR CINEMA SUPERVISORS**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: From £10.58 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Carrickfergus: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)
- Bar management: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
