Hours: (Mon - Thurs) 8am - 5pm (Friday) 10:30 - 15:00
Pay: £9.75 per hour
Contract: Permanent
A local manufacturing company based in Kidderminster are looking for a Despatch Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. To be willing to assist within the company as and when required. Please note a FLT Licence is essential.
The duties of a Despatch Assistant:

- Manage and maintain accurate stocks levels
- Movement of goods & materials between the various facilities
- To use the in-house computer systems to produce labelling
- Ensure the safe loading/unloading of all despatches
- Pick and pack trolley sets
- Manage stock taking/PI counting etc
- Put away new stocks
- To keep a log of materials and report low stocks
The requirements of a Despatch Assistant:

- Required to drive company vehicles to deliver/collect goods materials
- Support of all Health & Safety regulations
- Counterbalance forklift licence essential
- Basic knowledge of IT packages, Outlook/Word
The role of a Despatch Assistant is working on a permanent basis, being paid £9.75 per hour, assisting and supporting with general duties.
