Progressor

Progressor required to join a well-established company that specialize in prototyping and production of fine limit sheet metal work, precision CNC machining and welding to OEM customer specification, in particular to the Aerospace, Defence, Marine, Nuclearand Telecommunications industries.

The Progressor role is to streamline the production process and identify and resolve weaknesses in the current process with a view to eliminating a production backlog. To monitor the status of orders at any point during the production process, resultingin efficient delivery times. Oversee the dispatch department to ensure that the products we produce are delivered correctly and within the time span agreed between GASE and the customers.

**ProgressorPosition Overview**
- First point of contact to outside resources, i.e.; Sub-contractors / Customers with regards to progress
- Responsible for customer orders through the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for deliveries on-Time-In-Full (OTIF)
- Update by return of customer progress reports.
- Attend In-house and external customer meetings.
- Support the packing & dispatch department.
- Assisting the Workshop Manager in planning of production control (i.e. allocation of work to sheet metal workers)
- Support of Production and Quality Manager
- Prioritisation of work requirements
- Carry out other necessary tasks as required.
- Full training, help and advice will be given.

**ProgressorPosition Requirements**
- Experience working within Manufacturing / Production environment
- Previous experience within a similar role such as Production planning /Scheduling would be advantageous
- Must live within a commutable distance of Dartford
- Must be willing to learn new skills

**ProgressorPosition Remuneration**
- Full time - 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Salary £30,000 - £34,000 (DOE)
- 30 days paid holiday (inc. Public holidays)
- Onsite Parking
