As an **Imaging Informatics Manager** you’ll be responsible for the delivery of a high quality PACS/RIS service covering the London and the South East

You’ll guarantee system security and compliance with clinical standards through management of security access and ensure effective and appropriate use of data and reporting processes as well as deliver excellent customer service throughout all engagement with users.

**As our Imaging Informatics Manager you will**:

- Be responsible and accountable for all aspects of the Radiology IT Systems.
- Ensure the availability of comprehensive training and encourage and develop best practice throughout the Radiology IT service
- Guarantee system security and compliance with clinical standards through strategic management of security access protocols and processes
- Ensure effective and appropriate use of data and reporting processes
- Deliver excellent customer service to improve user satisfaction
- Manage the resolution of incidents and service requests so that they are delivered in a professional and timely manner
- Proactively develop the quality of the service offered to the end users and the efficiency of the delivery of that service

**To succeed as our Imaging Informatics Manager, you will need to demonstrate**:

- BSC in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent (DCRR) or relevant experience
- Current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council or relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate in an effective manner with a wide range of customers, including consultants and suppliers
- Comprehension of and adherence to the requirements of IRMER2000
- Comprehension of and adherence to all Health & Safety and COSHH
- Demonstrable experience of working within a modern healthcare environment (including compliance with Radiation Protection Procedures, Quality Assurance Programmes, Clinical Effectiveness and Caldicott Guidelines)
- Demonstrable experience of PACS management
- Demonstrable in-depth understanding of the principles of radiography and radiographic equipment
- Excellent understanding of radiology service architecture
- Good understanding of function and interaction of computerised radiology and subsidiary systems (e.g. HIS, PACS, PAS and RIS)
- Strong, proven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve problems, driving solutions through to completion.
