Do you have buying or sales experience?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business in the busy Market Town of Northallerton. My client is looking to recruit a Procurement/Logistics Coordinator to join their busy team on a full time and permanent basis.

Duties will include:

- Schedule and process deliveries nationally and internationally of bulk, IBC and pallets
- Ensure deliveries are booked in efficiently with customers
- Support the Logistics Planner to identify solutions and contingency plans for any delivery issues
- Work closely with third party providers to maximise performance, drive efficiency and highlight any decline in performance
- Manage all activities associated with returnable packaging
- Process all relevant transport documents and dangerous goods documentation
- Support Logistics Planner by preparing documentation required to facilitate the importing and exporting of goods
- Raise purchase orders for all 3rd party suppliers and check them off against the supplier invoice
- Resolve any invoice queries

Skills and experience:

- High-calibre administrator
- Confident IT skills, proven record of using all Microsoft programmes
- Excellent communication skills
- Exemplary organisational skills, always maintaining discretion and tactfulness
