**ABOUT THE RACECOURSE**:
Ascot Racecourse is horse racing's most iconic venue, hosting the Royal Meeting, the world's most famous and watched festival. Royal Ascot is broadcast to over 200 countries with audiences in the many millions, has a history spanning over 300 years and is the cornerstone of the British social scene. With other stunning racedays and a year-round calendar of events to support, Ascot is a flourishing business and a fantastic place to work.

Ascot hosts around 600,000 racegoers a year across 26 race days, 300,000 of whom come to the five days of Royal Ascot. Royal Ascot capacity can reach an attendance of 75,000 on a day. Ascots conference and events business welcomes a further 200,000 guests a year outside of racing.

**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for a chauffeur to drive our CEO (and other directors as required) for a variety of business-related matters such as meetings, events and functions, airport etc. The hours are varied but are generally during the business working week, not usually racedays.

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Able to drive safely within legal limits
- Excellent knowledge of roads in and around the London area and all London airports
- Punctuality and reliability
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Smart appearance
- Discretion/confidentiality
- Patient, calm and flexible, and able to cope with last minute changes

You will need to have a full clean driving licence and be medically fit to drive. Successful completion of an advanced driving test would be desired.

Previous police or military backgrounds who have driven VIPs would be desired, but is not essential.

**WHAT WE OFFER**:
We will be paying £17.03 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay), and this will be on a casual agreement basis.

Our Ascot Official Car is provided by Genesis which you will have use of when driving our directors. The number of hours worked will be dependent on when the directors require your assistance.
