We are currently recruiting for an **experienced Senior Programme Officer** to join one of London’s leading Universities. You will act as the administrative lead for all the department’s executive education programmes, supporting the design,development and delivery of in-person and online programmes.

**_DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_**

**Project management**
- Manage a portfolio of in-person and online open enrolment programmes, delivering to agreed timescales, budgets and at high quality.
- Arrange regular team discussions around activities, milestones, due dates, ensuring adequate planning, control and delivery of outputs.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders with confidence and diplomacy.

**Programme management**
- Co-ordinate the administrative arrangements for the portfolio of programmes. This may include booking and securing accommodation, travel, catering, audio visual and other technical equipment, entertainment, dinners, setup and maintenance of virtual learningenvironments.
- Produce, or oversee the production of, programme documentation such as briefing packs, presentations and any other materials and distribute.
- Communicate with programme participants throughout their learning journey before, during and after their programme, to ensure they feel well-informed and supported at every stage.
- Be present throughout the programme, ensuring clients and participants are fully supported, resolving any problems that may arise; co-ordinating with catering, facilities, AV/IT teams and academic staff.
- Collate, analyse and distribute feedback to the Academic Programme Director and other academic leads.
- Ensure all types of feedback are passed on to the School’s senior management team.

**Business development**
- Manage the promotion of the portfolio of executive education programmes, in conjunction with the School’s Communications and Marketing team. This will include the production of an annual advertising schedule, arranging dedicated campaigns and special initiatives.
- Develop recruitment plans to achieve or exceed the agreed target participant numbers.
- Assist in the identification and development of new programmes and learning solutions and meet with academic staff and other stakeholders to support the discussion around new programme development.
- Proactively develop new business relationships with organisations. Work with current and prospective clients to identify their strategic objectives and identify and promote programmes that the School could offer to meet their needs.
- Obtain participant and organisational recommendations.

**Client relationship management**
- Ensure all enquiries are answered quickly, efficiently and positively, and followed-up within the agreed time periods.
- Implement and maintain an up-to-date database of enquiries.

**Financial management**
- Manage the budgets for programmes.
- Ensure that invoices for all participants are issued promptly, with payment being received before participants commence the programme.
- Ensure all payments are made in accordance with financial regulations, including payments to contributors.
- Complete final budgets and accounts for each programme, in conjunction with the School’s finance team.

**_PERSON SPECIFICATION_**
- Significant experience in Higher Education.
- Project management and/or client relationship management experience, coordinating internal activities to meet the deadlines and delivery expectations of external clients.
- Experience of managing costs and developing budgets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong delivery focus, with the ability to develop and progress opportunities from the leads stage to final contract signing.
- Proven customer service skills of the highest level and the ability to build and sustain professional relationships with a range of people and organisations.
- Excellent organisational skills, using a methodical approach to work and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven consistent ability to meet tight deadlines and to manage own workload across multiple projects, through effective prioritising, time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, often using personal judgement and initiative to deal with problems and enquiries.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Teams) and web content management systems.
- Positive and flexible attitude to work and willingness to "go the extra mile" whenever necessary,
- Collaborative and flexible approach to team working
- Enthusiasm for working across cultures and for meeting people.
