**Isle of Wight Jobs Recruitment have been instructed by one the Islands most respected and established hotels for a Manager to lead the team and continue to deliver the very best in guest experience**

**This hotel offers luxury rooms and a fine dining experience for its guests and has a reputation as the leading hotel of its size on the Island with superb reviews.**

As the Hotel Manager you will manage all areas of the hotel including the front office team, the maintenance of the hotel and housekeeping. You will also work closely with the F&B and Operations departments to ensure a smooth running of the venue.

We're looking for a hands on Manager who is keen to work with all departments to ensure the high standards guests expect are met. You also need to enjoy leading and motivating a busy team especially throughout the summer months.

On offer is the very rare opportunity to manage a historic hotel with a superb and established team already in place so this would suit someone with high aspirations in the hospitality industry.

**The role**:

- Oversee all department heads including the kitchen
- Recruiting, training, and developing the team
- Monitoring the daily rates and ensure they fit with the business
- Have a key focus on guest service and ensure the team are able to go above and beyond
- Work with all other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel
- Analyse customer feedback and online reviews and suggest ways to improve ratings.
- Front office management experience is required in a hotel environment.
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent organisational skills and a positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to train, develop and motivate your team.
- Good knowledge of rates and reservations is required
