Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team In our new coffee van As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and organised workspace and provide exceptional customer service.

**Duties**:

- Open and close the coffee van
- handle money
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the till system
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and other machinery
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage of perishable items
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage recipes is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is beneficial

Pay: £10.00-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 27 - 36 per week
