**Job Title**:Hospitality Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

**Trainee or Qualified Assessor Opportunity**

**Location**:East Midlands - travel between Derby and Leicester (Home and Field based role)

**Salary**: £27,500 - £29,000 (Salary dependent on qualifications)

Our client is happy to consider non-qualified Assessors, who possess solid experience as within Hospitality, and ideally some exposure to learning and development.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Must have experience of working across both Front of House and Back of House within a Hospitality setting at Management level - such as a Restaurant Manager who has exposure as a Chef (e.g., Head Chef; Sous Chef; Chef de Partie)
- Must have experience of food preparation, cooking and finishing across a substantial range of fresh and seasonal dishes.
- Ideally hold own NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery
- Must be confident to support learners Maths and English Functional Skills.
- Must be IT literate.
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.

**Duties include**:

- Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality up to Level 4, specialising in Back of House and Front of House specialisms.
- Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face-to-face learning).
- Delivering Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
