- Competitive Salary + BenefitsWe are partnering with a leading manufacturer who are seeking a Logistics Operative to join their growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Verifying batch numbers, component descriptions, and quantity against the SAP system and reporting any discrepancies to supervision.
- Verify that all products are packaged using the proper materials in accordance with the instructions, and that labels and addresses are attached and plainly visible/legible.
- Ensuring that the shipping instructions are accurate and clearly identify the item being sent.
- To ensure that products are prepared for dispatch in accordance with client and delivery schedules, liaison with the logistics team and the shipping clerk is necessary.
- To gain proficiency in a range of multiskilled tasks within Detail Stores, Raw Material Stores, and Internal Transport using a variety of methods and techniques in line with company and departmental goals.
- To correctly operate a carousel and pick small items, as well as pick bigger items at the end of the line to complete the picking process. To accurately pick, pack, and issue materials, goods, and stock from the Detail and Raw Material Stores areas in accordance with requirements.
- performing tasks in raw material stores such as cutting raw materials to size with a saw and delivering them to the machine shop; and performing inspections using simple measuring and part-marking equipment.

**Skills Required;**
- Able to balance conflicting employment objectives to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Computer proficient with knowledge of Word and Excel in the Microsoft Office suite.
- A methodical and structured working approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to adhere to requests and directions, whether they are written or verbal.
- Ability to pick up new abilities.
- A member of the group (ability to work well with others).
- Gained experience from a manufacturing setting or warehouse, basic stores, and packaging expertise.
- A fundamental understanding of H&S rules and practises.
