Calling all Food Production Operatives, our business is growing, and we have a number of vacancies at our site on Deeside Industrial Park.

We are looking for Production Operatives to work on our bagging lines to help package our tasty snacks ready to ship to our customers.

**What shifts will you work?**

Our main production cycle is Monday to Friday, and we need you to work 4 shifts during the week. They will be 12-hour shifts starting at either 06:00hrs or 18:00hrs.

**What will you do?**

You will work as part of a small team of Food Production Operatives and your main duties will be to:

- Be responsible for the efficient bagging of our snacks, running a series of multi-head weighers & bag makers.
- Optimise processes through yield improvements, waste reduction & other efficiency gains.
- Work as part of an end-to-end production line, ensuring high quality, cost effective production.
- Pack and label our snacks efficiently and accurately.
- Check product quality to make sure we send the best snacks out to our customers.
- Help with product change overs, by cleaning down machinery and changing packaging.
- Complete paperwork so we can track how many snacks that we make in a day, ensure they are made to the highest quality and that the right amounts are packaged for our customers.
- And finally, helping us keep hygiene as our top priority by keeping our factory safe, clean, and tidy.

**What are we are looking for?**

It’s a physical job, in a busy production line, that runs at high speed, so you will need excellent levels of manual dexterity and to be able to be on your feet for most of the day. We have high standard of health and safety and hygiene and will need you to support us maintain these. Above all we are looking for individuals who have a positive mindset, who want to be part of a growing Company and who have a passion for crisps and snacks So whatever task you’re performing, your attention to detail will make sure we can fulfil our orders and get our brilliant snacks out to our customers

We are Calbee Group UK Ltd, and we make Seabrook Crisps. Seabrook has been manufactured in Yorkshire for over 75 years and even though manufacturing has modernised in that time our commitment to making brilliant crisps and snacks has not changed. We are owned by one of the leading snacks businesses in Japan meaning we can offer job security for our employees. As well as the brilliant Seabrook brand, we also produce under our own label - Harvest Snaps, as well as producing yummy snacks for private label and supermarkets.
