Ndt Inspector

**Summary**:
You could join a fast-growing aerospace company, that specialises in non-destructive testing via its cutting-edge facilities. The company is hiring an X-Ray (Radiography) Inspector, certified to Level 2 via EN4179, NAS410 or PCN.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform radiography tests on welds, using wet film, within a variety of metallic components (e.g., pipework, ducts and flat plate).
- Radiograph parts in accordance with job requirements.
- Support other NDT requirements and demands when necessary.
- Ensure equipment and tooling is calibrated before use.
- Achieve task requirements within project deadlines
- Liaise daily with the Team Leader and, where necessary, production teams.
- Responsible for personal Health and Safety.
- Responsible for 5S.
- Support the company with compliance audits relevant to NDT processes
- Where appropriate, will liaise with customers on any technical issues.

**Suitable Experience**:

- **NDT**: certified at Level 2 for X-Ray / Radiographic Testing (RT - essential); EN4179, NAS410 or PCN accepted.
- **NDT**:Level 2 with Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) or Level 3 for Radiography are advantageous.
- **Industries worked in**: aerospace or automotive manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Understanding of health & safety issues
- Knowledge of Lean Principles (training will be provided)
- **Right to Work**: you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

**Hours**:

- 39 hours per week
- Mon-Thu: 7am to 4pm | Fri: 7am to 12pm
- Holiday: 25 days (paid basic) plus Bank Holidays = 33 days

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
